CHEAP BASEBALL TICKETS

April is the perfect month to find cheap baseball tickets. 

Some of the most expensive baseball tickets of the year are opening day tickets due to all the hype and marketing.  Baseball teams play 162 games a year, 81 home games and the only reason the opening day game is priced higher is because some fans want to be at the first game of the season.  Not too many people will pay a premium to see the second, third or fourth game of the season.  Here is where you can work the system to your advantage.  Games in April especially against other baseball teams are not a very good baseball team have tickets that are priced under face price. 

Even for a team like the New York Mets which just built a new stadium, Citi Field, I can buy tickets for $6, $7, $9.  These are not the best seats, but they are decent upper levels that get me and my family in to the new ballpark for less than the price of a movie.

The New York Mets have placed tickets onsale for the April and May 2009 Regular Season games at the new Citi Field beginning today.  The New York Yankees are taking registrations for the opportunitiy to buy tickets to the 2009 regular season games at the New Yankee Stadium.

These days, with the price of Major League Baseball tickets skyrocketing faster than the price of gasoline, more and more families are finding great values by going to a AAA Minor League Baseball game.  Prices for Minor League games on Stubhub are available at a significant savings compared to the Major League teams.
